John Nees is professionally engaged in the energy, agriculture and real estate sectors. He has managed major international energy projects with assignments in Russia, Venezuela, India, and Indonesia, and currently manages a privately held U.S.-based energy company. A co-founder of the highly regarded PlumpJack Winery, John has developed vineyard and winery projects in California’s Napa Valley. Mr. Nees is an asset manager and real estate developer, and is currently developing the Kukio Golf & Beach Club, Hawaii’s premier resort residential community. Mr. Nees holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from Emory University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
